Brian Thomas

Hello!  My name is Brian Thomas and this is my first year at Ann Arbor Open teaching 7th/8th Humanities.  Prior to Open I was teaching high school social studies and English at Skyline High School.  My classroom approach is through inquiry and deeper questions, I enjoy having students look at different topics presented in class and see how it has been adapted to art, literature, music, and poetry.   A hope and goal of mine is to help students become better critical thinkers and explore the curriculum presented in their own way.
