Tom Gibb-Randall

Tom Gibb-Randall has taught third and fourth grade at AAO since 2019. Before that he taught elementary and middle school for 20 years in Romulus, and before that he was one of the directors at Farm and Wilderness Camps in Vermont, and before that he taught for UM on the New England Literature Program. Tom loves doing all kinds of school with his students, from writing poems about nature, to debating various ways to solve math problems, to measuring the effect of different amounts of yeast on bread height. His classes invariably come together acting, building interdependence by helping each other bring characters and stories to life on stage.
